1. Introduction

Welcome to orchidpsychiatrystl.com (“the Site”). The Site is owned and operated by Orchid Psychiatry, LLC, a psychiatric medical practice located in St. Louis, Missouri.

By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

These Terms apply to website usage only. They do not govern the doctor–patient relationship or clinical services, which are covered under separate agreements and HIPAA regulations.

2. No Medical Advice

The information on this Site is for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing on the Site constitutes:

  • Medical advice

  • A diagnosis

  • Treatment recommendations

  • A substitute for professional psychiatric care

Using the Site does not establish a physician–patient relationship with Dr. Pooja Sharma.

If you are experiencing a medical or psychiatric emergency, call 911 or the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline immediately.

3. Use of the Site

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You may not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site

  • Interfere with website performance or security

  • Upload or transmit malware

  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission

  • Reverse engineer or disrupt any part of the Site

Violation of these Terms may result in restriction or termination of access.

4. Telehealth Services

The Site may link to or reference telehealth platforms such as Doxy.me, which is used for HIPAA-compliant online psychiatric care.

Clinical services are provided only through secure platforms and are governed by separate Telehealth Informed Consent, HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, and other clinical policies—not these website Terms.

Accessing telehealth platforms requires your agreement to their terms and privacy practices.

5. Appointment Scheduling

Appointments may be scheduled:

  • Through a website form

  • By phone with our office assistant

Submitting an appointment request does not guarantee availability or confirm a physician–patient relationship until formally accepted by the Practice.

Website forms should not contain sensitive medical information.

6. Payments

Payments for services may be made via:

  • Credit card (processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party systems)

  • Check

Orchid Psychiatry, LLC does not store full credit card numbers on its servers.

We do not accept insurance plans at this time.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, images, graphics, videos, layout, and branding—is the property of Orchid Psychiatry, LLC and is protected by U.S. copyright and trademark law.

You may not:

  • Copy

  • Distribute

  • Modify

  • Publish

  • Reproduce

  • Create derivative works

without written permission from Orchid Psychiatry, LLC.

You may view and print pages for personal, non-commercial use.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to external websites or platforms such as telehealth systems, payment processors, or educational resources.

We are not responsible for:

  • The content found on third-party websites

  • Their privacy practices

  • Their security practices

Users should review those websites’ separate terms and privacy policies.

9. No Guarantee of Results

Any descriptions of treatment approaches, patient experiences, or services provided by Orchid Psychiatry, LLC are informational only.

We make no guarantee of specific outcomes for any patient.

Each individual’s response to treatment varies.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under Missouri and U.S. law, Orchid Psychiatry, LLC is not liable for any damages resulting from:

  • Use of or inability to use the Site

  • Errors or omissions in Site content

  • Interruptions in website availability

  • Unauthorized access to information

  • Use of third-party telehealth or payment platforms

  • Reliance on information provided on the Site

The Site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Orchid Psychiatry, LLC, its owner, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses arising from:

Clinical services and patient health information are governed separately under HIPAA and our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

Continued use of the Site means you accept all changes.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri.

Any disputes shall be resolved in Missouri courts with appropriate jurisdiction.
